NAMENDA XR is a medication that acts as an NMDA receptor antagonist. Its chemical name is 1-amino-3,5-dimethyladamantane hydrochloride. It is a fine white to off-white powder that can dissolve in water. NAMENDA XR is available in capsule form with different strengths: 7 mg, 14 mg, 21 mg, and 28 mg.
